WELCOME   TO

PANGLAO ISLAND

At Philippine Diver, we believe that everyone should be able to experience the beauty of the Panglao Island Dive Spot. That's why we offer affordable pricing options tailored to your needs.

1.250 Php Per Dive, 100 Php for Marine fees, 500 Php for all equipment rental, and a dive computer 500 Php (Optional).

Enter the cave from the wall side, best in small groups due to the southward drift current, sometimes strong. Dive lights reveal cardinal fish, Sergeant Major Fish, White-eyed moray eels, and Black-finned Snake eels inside. Look out for hidden Raggy Scorpionfish near the top entrance at 8 meters. Along the wall, spot groupers, wrasse, and butterflyfish. In the shallows towards the end of the dive, between 5 and 10 meters, watch for Anglerfish or "frog" fish.

Arco Point

In front of Bohol Beach Club, divers can explore two small jeepney car wrecks at the dive's end: one at 10 meters with its roof nearby, and another upside down at 8 meters. Look out for Brown Daisy coral and pygmy seahorses, guided by an experienced dive master. Expect sightings of Sergeant Major fish, Black Damsel Fish, occasional banded snake eels, and black and blue lined Nudibranchs on the sand slope.

BBC Dive

Entry and exit can be challenging in strong "Amihan" winds. Look for sea fans, sponges, and corals, and watch for anglerfish. Mind your depth and keep an eye out for marine life like mackerel and squid. Deeper waters may reveal sharks. Land entry and exits are straightforward but caution is needed on the reef top. Boat trips may seem long due to navigation around the shallow east tip from Panglao; shortcuts are limited except during maximum high tide.

Doljo Point

A fantastic spot for night diving, this site lies on the west side of Alona Beach about 110 meters from the shore. Start with a stunning bow-shaped cliff where you can spot Nudibranchs. Explore a beautiful coral garden atop the wall, teeming with small fish like Redfin-Amethyst-Purple Anthias. Along the sandy slope at the bottom, discover splendid sand eels and spotted Garden eels.

Garden Eels

Watch your NDL if diving into the wreck sunk by Seaquest Dive Center in 2000. Bring a dive light to explore the wreck and small caves. Encounter Tall fin Batfish above the wreck, Big Lionfish and Giant Anglerfish below it, and various cardinal fishes within. Look for Anglerfish at the "S" shaped wall and search for the Harlequin Ghost Pipefish among feather stars at the dive's end.

Habagat Wreck

In front of Seaquest Dive Center, there's a beautiful house reef ideal for introductions, check-ups, or night dives. Night dives offer sightings of basket stars and possibly Harlequin Ghost Pipefish, along with Baby Barracudas and various reef fish like Purple Queen Anthias, Moorish Idol, and Regal Angelfish. However, the reef has been affected by boat mooring ropes, causing some coral damage.

House Reef

This dive site, connected to Danao Beach, offers two dives. Explore blue and table corals, sea fans, Brown Daisy coral, and encounter Dothead Rockcod and small Barracuda. With a skilled dive master, spot the black and yellow "Harlequin Ghost Pipefish." Look for the "Comet" and Banded Pipefish in caves halfway along the wall. Beware of aggressive Blue-Finned or Titan Triggerfish in May and June.

Kalipayan

Access the dive site by jeepney or car in rough waters at Alona Beach. This wall boasts cathedral Virgin corals, perfect for shallow-water photography. Exercise caution with your entry, as it can be shallow. If driving, take care walking down the cliff with full equipment as it can be slippery. Entry and exit points are the same, providing a good chance to spot young Barracudas and Bannerfish.

Napaling

Enter the dive site at the fishing hut aligned with Panglao's south point at 125˚. Explore a coral garden with Anthias, Raggy Scorpionfish, Ribbon eels, and One-stripped fusiliers. Watch for a slight current; return to shallow waters in the south if it intensifies. It's ideal for your safety stop, with much to see at 4 meters depth. Bring a dive light to explore caves along the wall.
