About Doljo Point
Doljo Point Dive Spot presents challenges during "Amihan" winds for entry and exit, yet rewards divers with sightings of giant sea fans, bucket sponges, elephant ear coral, green leather corals, and intriguing anglerfish. Caution is advised regarding depth at the dive's onset to prevent going too deep. Keep an eye on the blue water for mackerel, squid, or young Barracudas, while deeper waters offer the chance to encounter sharks, including white tips or hammerheads. Entry and exits by land are straightforward, though care must be taken at the reef top. Boat trips may seem lengthy due to navigation around Panglao's shallow east tip; outrigger boats cannot take shortcuts except during maximum high tide. Dive direction suggests starting with the wall on the left shoulder, heading southwestward.
