HABAGAT WRECK

About Habagat Wreck
Diving at the Habagat Wreck demands attention to your no-decompression limit (NDL), especially if exploring the wreckage submerged by Seaquest Dive Center in 2000. Bringing a dive light can enhance exploration of the wreck and its accompanying small caves along the wall. Marine life abounds with Tall fin Batfish above the wreck, while beneath it dwell Big Lionfish, Giant Anglerfish, and various cardinal fishes. Along the "S" shaped wall, divers can spot Anglerfish, and towards the end of the dive on the slope, keep an eye out among the feather stars for the elusive Harlequin Ghost Pipefish. Typically, the dive commences at the Habagat wreck at 35 meters, ascending along the sandy slope in a northwest direction towards the "S" shaped wall with overhangs, keeping the wall on the right shoulder, and proceeding westward.
