RICO'S WALL

BALICASAG ISLAND

About Rico's Wall

Situated on the south/west side of Balicasag Island, this dive site features a deep drop-off wall, with a notable land orientation being a prominent rock marked by a stick visible from the beach during low tide. Underwater, divers encounter a rich array of marine life, including soft and hard corals, as well as small caverns and crevices. A captivating sight is the school of "Jacks," Big Eye trevally, swirling in circular formations akin to a tornado, alongside Midnight Snappers intermingling among sweetlip fishes. Divers can opt to begin their dive by heading south with the wall on their left shoulder or north with the wall on their right shoulder.
