We would like to welcome you:
To our new one-stop ‘PADI Dive Resort’ located at the heart of Alona Beach (800m) within the premises of Lost Horizon resort (Beautifully and newly landscaped). Our facility opened its doors first week of February 2008 at the beach front (22m distance from high tide) with new equipments, new boats, new training pool and highly trained staff. We are very much involved and successful in environmental protection, conservation and advocacy.

President/CEO: Holger Horn, PADI Master Instructor, German. 10 years scuba diving business experiences within the Visayas region.Manager Japanese market: Rena Sugiyama, PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Japanese. 14 years diving experiences within the Visayas region.
Secretariat: Inquiries, reservations, billings and staff supervisor: Ana Liza Gelilang, Filipina, and Open Water Diver. 8 years SCUBA business experiences.
Business Partners:
Karl-Heinz Epp (PADI Master Instructor), managing partner of Savedra Dive Center in Moalboal, Cebu and Manfred Langer (PADI Master Instructor) from Seven Seas Aquanauts Maribago and Plantation Bay in Mactan, Cebu. These two guys are in the business since the 80’s and early 90’s.

All guides are renewed PADI professionals, updated and updating themselves with all important SCUBA diving changes. One of our guides is a Marine Biologist.

Special customer diving services:
One of our distinct services is on-spot customer care. The diver doesn’t have to carry equipment, tanks, etc. from the dive center to the boat or the other way around. Our staff will take care of it. All our staffs on the boats are divers and if you wish they even assemble and disassemble your equipment.
Divers don’t need to climb/step into the boat with the equipment still on and risking injuries by falling, slipping or bending joints. Prior to enter the boat our staff lifts the equipment in.
Transfer services:
Round trip or one way transfer from Cebu Mactan international airport to the dive center or vice versa.
Round trip or one way transfer: From Tagbilaran airport / sea port to the dive center or vice versa.
Transfer from Cebu sea port (pier 1 or 4) to Cebu Mactan international airport or vice versa and Tagbilaran sea port to the dive center or vice versa.
Dive boats:
One new and spacious 23m traditional Banka boat (made for SCUBA divers) and one Speedboat. 2008 we are going to build a second 28m Banka of the same style.
Equipment:
25 sets Aqua Lung BCD’s and Regulators; various sizes of BCD’s (XS to XXL), long sleeves 3mm wetsuits and shorties (XS to XXL), low cut booties, open heel and full foot fins. High quality masks and snorkels (Also with corrected lenses). 0.5kg, 1.0kg and 2.0kg lead weights. All equipment is brand new and will be changed regularly.
Resort accommodations:
26 rooms ranging from Economy to Standard, Deluxe, Suite and Family rooms. Newest rooms with split type aircon, all other rooms with wall type aircon. In all rooms are mini bar, ref, cable TV or cable LCD (new rooms), and fresh hot and cold water, private bath room and C.R. (Except Economy which has a common bath room and C.R.), balcony or terrace. We also deal with other resorts in the near proximity in case Lost Horizon resort is fully booked.
Resort amenities/services:
Restaurant with local and int. cuisine, beach bar, swimming pool with Jacuzzi, laundry service, massage service, free Wi-Fi and desktop internet use, conference room.
Sight seeing tours:
Dolphin watching and Island hopping with snorkeling.
Sight seeing trips to the country site of Bohol: Chocolate Hills, Loboc River, Tarsiers, Butterfly Sanctuary, old Baclayon Church.

Reasonable accommodation-/scuba diving-/courses-/transfer-/bf-/sightseeing packages for an unforgettable SCUBA diving or family vacation. You can always customize your own package and we will be happy assisting you.
Vacation opportunities:
SCUBA diving safaris for 3 days or more starting in Bohol or Moalboal: Instead of transferring with cars and ferries in between these two destinations you can also build in a small SCUBA diving safari (2 nights at Apo Island Negros, Dauin Negros or Santander Cebu south) in order to conquer the distance Bohol – Moalboal.
We also start small (3 to 4 days) SCUBA diving safaris in Mactan Cebu, heading for Cabilao Island and ending in Alona Beach, Panglao Island.
Another beautiful option could be a SCUBA diving Island hopping vacation for 2 weeks or more starting at Alona Beach Panglao Island, heading for Siquijor Island, Apo Island Negros, Masaplod Norte Cebu, Dauin Cebu, Sumilon Island Cebu and the last destination Moalboal Cebu.
Our favorite safari: 7days Alona Beach Bohol – 3 days SCUBA diving safari – 7 days Moalboal Cebu. Ending the vacation in Moalboal is a good option because the airport is located at Mactan Island Cebu. We are very open for your own ideas and together we will find ways in order to make the most out of your vacation with us.

Office/dive center hours:
0800hrs/8a.m. until 2000hrs/8p.m. (When we conduct early morning dives, we open at 0600hrs/6a.m. and night dives are usually done by latest 2030hrs/830p.m.)
Electrical system at resort and dive center:
220V. Every once in a while we are experiencing power interruptions (It calls ‘brown-out’ in the Philippines). This happens maybe once a week. Please bring a flash light.
